Although Kyabje Mindrolling Trichen has departed from his physical form, through his great kindness, he has left behind a great legacy of teachings, and his blessings continue to inspire all of his fortunate, devoted students. Kyabje Mindrolling Trichen has also left clear instructions with his two daughters, Mindrolling Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche and Jetsün Dechen Paldrön, for the continuity of the dharma teachings of the lineage of Mindrolling, and for the propagation of his vision into the future.

In accordance with the last instructions of Terdag Lingpa, that rather than mourn his passing his students should conduct drubchens and increase their devotion to practice, and in accord with Kyabje Mindrolling Trichen’s own instructions, the Mindrolling Monastery will, in keeping with this tradition, perform an extensive period of drubchens and ceremonial offerings for the benefit of all for the period of fifty days after the passing of Kyabje Mindrolling Trichen.  These include drubchös of the Minling Dorsem, Nara Dongtrug, Thugje Chenpo Desheg Kündü, Phurpa Yangsang Pudri and Lochen Zhitrho and the drubchen of Kagyed (The Eight Heruka Sadhanas).
