Since the Mindrolling Monastery falls in a designated restricted zone by the Government of India, all foreigners wishing to stay overnight in Clement Town need to download and fill out the application form for the Protected Area Permit (PAP) (pdf), and along with two passport- sized photos, and a copy of their passport (photograph page) and visa and send it to the following address:
