The Rinchen Terdzod Empowerments

Boundless Generosity

Kyabje Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche bestowed the Rinchen Terdzöd in its entirety to all of those who attended in an unprecedented way. Many times, a teacher may choose to bestow certain sections of the Rinchen Terdzöd only to those students who they feel have the ability to maintain the samaya to those particular teachings. However, as an example of Kyabje Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche's immense love and trust for all of his students and those receiving the empowerments, Rinpoche bestowed every single empowerment, to every single student who was able to be present during these very precious and powerful transmissions. In order to help everyone keep to at least the minimum required samaya of the empowerments that were received, a very short protectors' practice composed by Tertön Chokgyur Lingpa has been offered to the sangha by Her Eminence Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche and the nuns of Samten Tse.

In a further act of generosity, through the works of Minling Jetsün Dechen Paldrön and the some of the senior nuns of Samten Tse (Ani Karma Wozer, Ani Tsultrim Dechen, and Ani Chöynid Chödrön) and with the kind advice and help from Tulku Drakpa Gyaltsen Rinpoche, the entire classifications and the extensive list of Rinchen Terdzöd empowerments have been translated into English for those present for the Terdzöd. A beautifully bound Tibetan edition of these classifications and lists of the Rinchen Terdzöd empowerments have been compiled by Tulku Drakpa Gyaltsen Rinpoche and published by the Mindrolling Ladrang. This Tibetan edition was offered to all of those who attended the Rinchen Terdzöd. For those who are not able to read Tibetan, the English translation was offered.
