Kyabje Mindrolling Trichen Jurme Kunzang Wang Gi Gyalpo, the eleventh Trichen of Mindrolling, was one of the greatest mahasiddhas and realized masters of his generation. All through Kyabje Rinpoche's lifetime, he was one of the most respected and beloved teachers for Tibetan Buddhists of all four schools. Peerless and unsurpassable in wisdom, love and power, Kyabje Rinpoche was regarded by most Tibetans as Padmasambhava in person. It was with Kyabje Rinpoche's loving guidance and blessing-filled presence that Mindrolling in India grew from a small, one-building camp in the wilderness to one of the most prominent monastic institutions today. Kyabje Rinpoche's vast vision and aspirations are such that they are ineffable and beyond our ordinary minds. Yet we at Mindrolling strive everyday of our lives to try and fulfill, to the best of our abilities, his commands and what he always demonstrated to us by example.
And so it is only through the wishes, blessings and encouragement of Kyabje Mindrolling Trichen Jurme Kunzang Wangyal that the Mindrolling Monastery in India has been able to organize the bestowal of Rinchen Terdzöd this year. It was both the command and wish of Kyabje Rinpoche that the Rinchen Terdzöd once again be held at Mindrolling so that these precious transmissions could be passed on to the next generation of teachers.
Therefore, we as a sangha, with the deepest of longings for our teacher and hearts filled with yearning and devotion, dedicate this entire endeavour to him. We hope that Kyabje Rinpoche's love and blessings will continue to shower on all of us so that we never deviate from the teachings of the buddhadharma.
