The dge skos are appointed senior monks who are in charge of protocol and discipline. They have successfully maintained supervision over almost 3,000 monks. They uphold and ensure traditional discipline and protocol with mindful attention and helpful care. The Mindrolling gekös are greatly assisted by several gekös from other major monasteries during the Terdzöd.
Their presence has insured that traditional ethics and discipline are maintained by the entire sangha.
Everyone has enjoyed the peaceful and quiet environment where not only monks and nuns but also the entire lay community maintain discipline, concentrating fully on the empowerments and transmissions without any distractions.
