The Great Stupa : Construction History
The
stupa's foundation was laid down on the 29th of April, 2000 and construction
began in earnest on the 23rd of December the same year. This ambitious project was undertaken
under the leadership of His
Holiness Mindrolling Trichen and expert guidance on every
aspect of the stupa of the most Venerable
Khochhen Rinpoche. All the expenses for the stupa have been provided
by the Venerable Ti Ching.
